STRUCTAPAD’s are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic materials, diverting waste from landfills and offering the advantage of being recyclable after use. In contrast, concrete foundations require demolition into large fragments at the end of their lifecycle, posing challenges for disposal and recycling.

STRUCTAPAD’s are available in a standard size of 400mm x 400mm, with thickness options of 20mm, 30mm, and 50mm to accommodate various load bearing requirements. To enhance load distribution and levelling during installation, metal shims can be placed on top of STRUCTAPAD , ensuring precise alignment and levelling for your modular buildings.

STRUCTAPAD in action
After the building had been set out by our in house site team, the STRUCTAPAD’s were laid into position. Each pad was stacked to the required height, ensuring precise leveling across the site. To enhance support, we threaded reinforced steel bars through the pre-drilled holes in the pads. Once the steel bars were in place they were cut to the necessary height, resulting in a neat finish ready for foundation installation.
With the STRUCTAPAD’s being approximately 60% lighter than traditional concrete pads, the reduced weight simplified the construction process - saving time and effort during building installation. A total of 140 piers were installed in 3 days within 2mm tolerance.
Once the hire period for the modular building has expired and the building has been removed, our team will remove the STRUCTAPAD’s from site. As they are reusable, these pads can be used again for future projects. Offering a sustainable foundation solution.
